MORNING AT ROAST

Huge thanks to Iqbal Wahhab at Roast. Last week, he treated a group of trainees to an incredible 5 star breakfast, an introduction to his chefs and a tour of all the wonders of Borough Market.

They will never forget it.

UNA PADEL AWARD

We are proud to say that we have been highly commended in the organisational category of the Una Padel Award 2009.

http://www.crimeandjustice.org.uk/unapadelward2009.html?search_string=una%20padel.html The Una Padel Award is run by The Centre for Crime and Justice Studies. It “seeks to reward unrecognised commitment, determination and potential”. Nominations are invited from all sectors of criminal and social justice.Huge thanks to Emma Stuart-Smith who nominated us. As if that wasn’t enough, her band “The Cutaway” has also raised over £100 for Switchback at a fundraising gig earlier this month.

THE PEDAL EAST

Kate Elliot and Nic Verbij are cycling from Bangkok to Shanghai. 5000 miles in aid of Switchback!

They've covered the cost of the trip themselves and they're asking for contributions to Switchback on http://www.justgiving.com/Kate-Eliott

It would be wonderful if you could give a little and show your support.
