River Cottage

We're just back from incredible trip to Devon. Sea cliffs, vegetable gardens and warm eggs from under chickens.
We're very proud of the trainee who has moved his life down there to work at River Cottage Canteen. Also very proud of the trainee who came with us and took the leap into all those new experiences.
Huge thanks to the River Cottage team who were very generous with their time and food. Photos coming soon!

CAMPFIRE'S BURNING
Switchback Trainees saw a different side of London this month when they went to cook lunch on a campfire in Epping Forest. Braving thunderstorms and damp sausages, HD and OT did a great job. They built the campfire, prepared vegetable kebabs, corn-on-the-cob and BBQ meat and finished off with roast chocolate bananas. They returned after their day in the urban wilderness soaked through but re-engerised.
