24 August 2010 CAMPFIRE'S BURNING
Switchback Trainees saw a different side of London this month when they went to cook lunch on a campfire in Epping Forest. Braving thunderstorms and damp sausages, HD and OT did a great job. They built the campfire, prepared vegetable kebabs, corn-on-the-cob and BBQ meat and finished off with roast chocolate bananas. They returned after their day in the urban wilderness soaked through but re-engerised.
Salt Yard regularly offer Switchback trainees invaluable opportunities to build new skills - now their sister restaurant, Dehesa, is raising money for Switchback!
